The Cape Central Academy Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program was also featured during the meeting with Central Academy Zech Payne and JAG Coordinator Ursulla Wadley making comments. CA student Taylor Banks read her award-winning essay as she shared obstacles she has had to overcome throughout her life, and goals she hopes to achieve through the support of JAG. Cape Central FBLA is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on November 1st from 7:30-1:30. The drive will be held in the school's small gym. The more units the organization collects the higher the college scholarship that the Red Cross will award. Community members are welcome contact the Red Cross for an appointment or walk ins are welcome.
Mrs. Schnurbusch's students and A+ tutors run the CHS Tiger Brew. Teachers can purchase tea, coffee and snacks to be delivered to their classrooms. Mrs. Taylor looks forward to these kids' delivery.
Central Speech and Debate Club have announced their meeting and competition dates.
Last week was homecoming and the Student Senate members worked tirelessly to decorate the halls for the week. We want to thank them for all their hard work, even on the weekend. And a shout out to their fearless leaders Ms. Dubose and Ms. Kirchner.

Due to a Spectrum fiber outage, many of our schools are currently experiencing disruption of service to phones, internet, email, and Wi-Fi. Spectrum does not have an estimated time of repair at this time. If you need help, you can call the Central Administrative Office at 335-1867.

CHS has a new Chess Club who met for the first time on Friday after school. They had 8 students at the club ,who had a wonderful time & didn’t want to leave. Chess Club will be meeting alternate Fridays and will publish our dates for all Fridays till the end of the year in a week or two. Thank you Mrs. Khot for sponsoring this club.
