Mrs Fuehne's ART 2 had a great time on our field trip to the St. Louis Art Museum —the students learned about ancient art and more modern artists. I believe Monet was our favorite painter. Students enjoyed seeing and learning about the mummification process.
We had a few minutes before the museum opened so we got a few pictures at the Arch. The architecture and art on the grounds there was pretty awesome too!

Congratulations to the 2024-25 yearbook staff for winning the Jostens Program of Excellence Award! This award is for meeting deadlines, selling books, selling ads, and student coverage. Less than 10 percent of the schools received this award.
Jostens rep said "The 2025 yearbook is by far the best designed book I have seen from Cape Central. The editors are working very hard to get content completed and pages submitted. Mr. Pullin and Ms. Bryant have been lifesavers. I'm so grateful for their leadership with the staff this year. "
Well deserve award!

Mrs. Taylor, the Cape Central FBLA adviser, had 14 students attend the Future Business Leaders of America State Conference in Springfield Missouri. Students competed in a variety of events as well as attending workshops and leadership training. We are proud to announce that:
Dulina Dias took 4th in Who's Who in Missouri FBLA
Joe Cao took 7th in Economics
Joe Cao and Spencer Engelhardt took 7th in Data Analysis
Over 5,000 students from around the state attended the conference and competition was tough. Mrs. Taylor says "We are tired but the conference was amazing. It is so nice getting to know the students outside the classroom. They really are awesome human beings and I am proud to be their adviser!"

The AP Human Geography students from Cape Central High hit the road to explore urban development in St. Louis! They visited the Cortex Innovation Community, toured historic neighborhoods like Mill Creek Valley and The Hill, and learned firsthand about sustainable design, cultural identity, and the impact of urban renewal. What an incredible way to bring classroom lessons to life!
